The National Air Duct Cleaners Association is encouraging those in the indoor air quality industry to attend its 25th annual convention, March 3-6 in San Antonio.

An estimated 400 air systems cleaning specialists, mold remediators and HVAC construction inspectors are predicted to attend the event.

“This year’s meeting will be organized into two tracks for the attendees—the business track and the industry education track,” said conference committee co-chairman Matt Monigello. “Each of the tracks will offer insight into industry and business best practices, based on current literature, new evolutions within the HVAC industry and evidence-based standards.”

Numerous educational sessions and training classes — including for the association’s air systems cleaning specialist designation.

“The ASCS certification has expanded to test skills necessary for both HVAC cleaning and microbial remediation with an HVAC system,” Mongiello said. “At this year’s meeting, new professionals can sit for the exam and obtain their ASCS certification for the first time and seasoned pros can earn the necessary continuing education credits for maintaining their certification.”
