ACCA modifies HVAC market certification program
The Air Conditioning Contractors of America has changed the pricing structure of its quality-assured certification program.
For one $600 fee, qualified members can now be approved in the association’s new homes and residential service and installation programs. Non-members can be approved for $800.
"At the end of 2013, the ACCA team reviewed the pricing structure for both of our quality accreditation programs and decided to streamline the application and payment processes," said Wes Davis, ACCA vice president of quality assured program. "By offering dual recognition and combining the various fees into one low rate, we made applying for accreditation simpler for contractors who are already performing quality installations and meet the requirements of the programs."
