HVAC leak detector meets ASHRAE standard, company says

A digital refrigerant leak detector from General Tools and Instruments has been certified to comply with ASHRAE standards, the company announced.
The model RDL400 has been independently tested and deemed to meet the new American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers’ halocarbon refrigerant leak detector standard, No. 173.
It has a leak rate of less than one gram per year.
