The 2013 edition of ISH China was a hit, organizers said, setting record for attendance and exhibitors.

The April 8-10 HVAC and sanitation trade show event at New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing brought 36,897 attendees — 11 percent more than last year. The 881 exhibitors, 65 more than in 2012, took up six halls and 861,000 square feet of space, officials said.

“The international reach of ISH China and CIHE (China International Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) continues to get stronger and stronger each year,” said Richard Li, general manager of Messe Frankfurt in China, which runs the show with B&D Tiger Exhibition Co. Ltd. “While the show is organized primarily for the Asia market, it has gained phenomenal support from HVAC and sanitation experts and suppliers from around the world. The event has proven to be both needed and admired by the industry’s players.”

B&D Exhibition Co. general manager Li Hongbo said it was great to see such high numbers of attendees and exhibitors.

“It humbles me to see how highly regarded the Beijing show is to professional buyers,” he said. “We recorded our best figures to date, as visitor numbers surpassed 2012 figures. Buyers from all areas of the HVAC and sanitation industries have confirmed once again that this is Asia’s most comprehensive offering of HVAC and sanitation solutions.”

Next year's show is scheduled for May 13-15.
