American Home Shield names top companies
Two of American Home Shield’s top HVAC contractors for 2012 are from the Lone Star State.
The home warranty company announced that Kane Heating & Air Conditioning in Killeen, Texas, won $20,000 as part of its contractor quality bonus program. The runner-up, Barnett Air Conditioning of Mansfield, Texas, earned a $15,000 bonus.
“We have more than 10,000 pre-screened professional contractors in our network, making it among the largest in the nation,” said Mark Barry, president of American Home Shield, a subsidiary of the ServiceMaster Co. “We rate contractor’s performance on more than a dozen metrics, including customer feedback.
An additional 146 contractors in categories that included appliance, electrical, plumbing and garage door repair, won bonuses ranging from $1,500 to $15,000.
“Our contractors deliver quality service every day to thousands of homeowners across the country on our behalf, and we’re proud to recognize those who are providing a best-in-class experience,” Barry said.
