Society offers meeting smartphone app
The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers have created a winter conference application for devices that use the Android and Apple operating systems.
It gives attendees of the Jan. 26-30 event in Dallas access to session listings, speaker info, floor maps for the AHR Expo and updates on schedule changes.
“This year, I’ve put a real emphasis on making technology more accessible to people as part of my presidential theme,” ASHRAE President Tom Watson said. “What’s more accessible than having the technology in your hand? The ASHRAE event app acts as a digital guide to the conference.”
The application is downloadable now at www.ashrae.org/eventsapp.
