NAHB gives out 'green' awards
Projects from San Francisco, Arizona, Indiana
and Washington were among those honored by the National Association of Home Builder.
Remodelers, building and other industry professionals were recently given National Green Building Awards by the NAHB.
"These awards recognize the best and most innovative builders and remodelers in green building,” said National Association of Home Builders Chairman Barry Rutenberg, a builder from Gainesville, Fla. "The demand for green building is growing in leaps and bounds, and these winners set a great example of what can be accomplished in terms of sustainable and energy efficient building practices."
The awards were handed out April 30 at the National Green Building Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
