ACCA starts publishing subsidiary

subsidiary's magazine and website will be available in January.
The Air conditioning Contractors of America is expanding its media presence.
The association has launched a new subsidiary, ie3media Inc., to oversee its new publication, IE3: Indoor Environment & Energy Efficiency, as well as a related website and content designed for access and reading on smartphones and tablet computers like the iPad.
"ACCA is a forward-thinking, fast-paced organization and it's important that we continue to take advantage of our key strengths in order to do what we're here to do -- help contractors achieve business success," said ACCA Chairman Joe Nichter. "Ie3media will play a key role in our future ability to provide first-class service to the entire industry."
The magazine and website will be available in January. The ACCA’s president and chief executive officer, Paul Stalknecht, will serve in the same capacity at ie3media.
"ACCA's members are seeing significant opportunities to expand their expertise and offerings in the indoor environment and energy services arena," Stalknecht said. "We are committed to helping contractors take advantage of those opportunities, both through the association's services and through new offerings from ie3media."
