Onset offers online energy management course
Onset will offer an online professional training course called
"Data Loggers for Performance Monitoring."
Developed and presented by Mark Stetz of Stetz Consulting LLC, the four-hour online course targets energy professionals involved in building commissioning, measurement and verification, energy audits, and HVAC diagnostics and comfort monitoring applications. The online course will be held in two, two-hour sessions on Dec. 6 and 8.
Onset officials said that participants will learn how to apply data loggers to HVAC equipment, lighting systems, and occupied spaces, and interpret collected data to understand building system behavior and identify problems.
Four Green Building Certificate Institute continuing education hours will be awarded upon completion of the course. Additionally, the first 50 registrants will receive a free Hobo U12-012 Temperature/Humidity data logger and Hoboware graphing and analysis software.
