Contractor confidence growing, ACCA says
HVAC contractors are growing a little more optimistic about the economy,
according to a new ACCA survey.
The Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s Contractor Comfort Index for October was 58, seven points higher than the previous month. However, the number is down from a year ago, when the index was 62.
The index is based on a survey of ACCA members who are asked what they feel about business conditions now and in the near future. A number above 50 indicates contractors feel more positive about the economy.
The next index will be released near the end of November.
