The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling
Contractors-National Association will celebrate its 130th
anniversary throughout the year. The organization is planning several special
observances to recognize the role its members have played in the industry.
“Since its founding in 1883, PHCC has continued to build on its unique heritage
and bring members together to advance the industry,” said PHCC President Keith
Bienvenu of Bienvenu Brothers Plumbing in Metaire, La. “We are both proud of
our past accomplishments and very much focused on the future. As the industry
evolves with new services, technologies, standards and regulations, PHCC
continues to provide the high level of education, training and advocacy that
plumbing and HVACR contractors need in an evolved business environment. That has been the hallmark of our
association throughout its 130-year history, and it continues today.”
During
the PHCC’s legislative conference, April 25-26 in Washington, D.C., the
association will honor the 125 founding contractors that helped launch
the organization. This includes a celebration recognizing George D. Scott, the
first president of PHCC.
Anniversary observances will
continue during the PHCC’s Connect 2012 conference Oct. 3-5 in Philadelphia. There, PHCC members can join in
anniversary celebrations and participate in a variety of seminars and
networking opportunities.

throughout the year marking the celebration. For updates, visitwww.phccweb.org.
