NATE announces staff changes
North American Technician Excellence is shaking up its
executive staff.
Patrick Murphy is out as vice president of certifications. Warren Lupson, the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute’s education director, has been named temporary certification director at NATE. The association’s current president, Peter Schwartz, will now focus on government and non-government relations, and Chairman Don Frendberg will become more involved in NATE promotion.
The association also announced that AHRI will increase its support of NATE by helping with financial, human resource, legal, government affairs and marketing/communications issues.
The changes were made, officials said, to ensure the staff is structured for better association growth.
