HARDI sponsors 2012 outlook webcast

February 17, 2012

HARDI is hosting a 90-minute webinar on what’s ahead for the HVACR industry, later this month.

The Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International’s “2012 HVACR Market Forecast Webinar” will take place at 2 p.m. Feb. 29. The webinar is the first in a series designed to predict where the industry is going.

“I’m proud to see HARDI and my volunteer colleagues be willing to stick our necks out there and offer a forecast, especially during these incredibly uncertain times,” said the association’s 2012 president, Bud Mingledorff of Mingledorff’s Inc. “It is so valuable to be able to sit down with our key suppliers and use the same third-party data points and analyses when planning how we’re going to attack the 2012 market and set our shared goals and objectives.”

The webinar is free for member distributors who contribute to HARDI’s monthly industry reports, and premier supplier members.

“Forecasting anything isn’t easy, but with our exceptional economists from ITR (Institute for Trend Research) and our wide network of industry and analyst contacts, we felt HARDI was in the best position to try to provide some barometer for the performance of the 2012 HVACR market,” said Talbot Gee, HARDI’s executive vice president. “We’ve spent the last year, and then some, urging our members to look at more than simply how they did last year when setting 2012 goals and strategies, so we hope to provide a thorough but concise compilation of data points and informed analysis for all aspects of the HVACR market.”
