Visitors to next month’s International Roofing Expo will
have a “new” area to check out on the trade show floor.
The former Renewable Energy Pavilion has been renamed the
Sustainability Pavilion and will feature environmentally friendly products such
solar, photovoltaics, vegetative, day lighting and geothermal technologies.
The pavilion is sponsored by Advanced Green Technologies.
"Sustainable
products are a fast-growing segment of the roofing industry," said Lindsay
Roberts, expo director. “This pavilion will feature a collection of products
and services to help roofing professionals meet the growing demand for
sustainability in their operations.”
The pavilion
will also showcase product demonstrations, said Bill Good, executive vice
president of the National Roofing Contractors Association, which sponsors the
expo.
“The
Sustainability Pavilion provides a great opportunity to understand how new
technologies will shape our future,” Good said. “I encourage all of our members
to see the latest products and learn from the educational
demonstrations.”
The
International Roofing Expo takes place Feb. 22-24 at the Orange County
Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
