Comfort Supply has opened its newest location in Knoxville, Tenn. The new warehouse and showroom at 608 Business Park Lane is the fifth Comfort Supply store in the state. It follows locations in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Cookeville and Clarksville.

The new 14,000-square-foot Knoxville store will offer residential and commercial HVAC equipment. The company is set to host an open house for contractors at the new location on Thursday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Knoxville is a particularly good location for Comfort Supply because of its central location within east Tennessee,” said David Sosna, branch manager for the new store. “Knoxville's proximity to and partnership with Oak Ridge, and its investment in energy research also make it an extremely attractive location for a HVAC business.”

Knoxville and Oak Ridge, Tenn., form what has been called Innovation Valley, a geographic area that includes the headquarters of the Tennessee Valley Authority and facilities for the U.S. Department of Energy. In 2010,Forbesmagazine ranked Knoxville 56th on its list of Best Places for Business and Careers. Within theForbes ranking, Knoxville landed 27th in the Cost of Doing Business, an index based on the cost of labor, energy, taxes and office space.

“Knoxville was the next logical step for Comfort Supply,” said CEO Clay Blevins. “We look forward to working with HVAC retailers within the community and being a part of this forward-looking city.”
