BIM, LEED to be meeting topics
Building information modeling and the LEED rating
program will be among the seminars at October’s SMACNA convention, organizers
announced.
“LEED Building for Sheet Metal and HVAC Contractors,” will explain the benefits of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program. The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association has also scheduled “Building Information Modeling and Integrated Project Delivery,” which will explain how these complementary methods work together.
Bradley T. Johnson, Ph.D., a senior consultant at Maxim Consulting Group, will lead both sessions.
The convention will take place Oct. 11-15 in Palm Desert, Calif.
