R-407A and R-407C refrigerants are OK to use in
Copeland Discus compressors,

R-407A and R-407C refrigerants are OK to use in Copeland Discus compressors in medium- and low-temperature supermarket applications, Emerson Climate Technologies announced.
“It is our goal at Emerson Climate Technologies to offer the industry the most up-to-date information on approved and suggested refrigerant options for various technologies and applications,” said Rajan Rajendran, director of applications engineering for Emerson Climate Technologies’ refrigeration division. “R-407A and R-407C offer capacity, efficiency performance and global warming potential comparable to R-22 and will provide a sound option for Copeland Discus compressors, complementing our existing R-404A products that are available for refrigeration applications.”
