of next month’s International Roofing Expo are adding show-themed social
networking Web sites to keep attendees informed on the latest show happenings.
Attendees, exhibitors, press,
vendors and anybody in the roofing industry are encouraged to check out the
show’s pages onFacebook Twitter and LinkedIn.
“The
addition of our social media sites is an aggressive move to educate our
attendees and exhibitors,“ said Donna Bellantone, expo director. “We want
our show participants to use it not only for the most up-to-date show news, but
also to connect with fellow industry colleagues.”
The sites
launched May 15, 2009.
“These
social media sites provide a wonderful avenue for our members to communicate
with each other as well as with show management,” said Bill Good, executive vice President of the
National Roofing Contractors Association, the show’s official sponsor. “I encourage all of our members to join the
show’s Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages.”
The
roofing expo takes place Feb. 22-24 at Morial
Convention Center in New Orleans.
