Lochinvar to be on ‘This Old House'
As
part of the project, the former boarding house turned three-family home’s
boiler will be replaced with two Knight units.
The Knight heating boiler from Lochinvar Corp. will be one of the “stars” this season on “This Old House.”
The long-running Public Broadcasting Service series features an extensive home renovation each year. This season, the house is a 1904 Renaissance Revival brownstone in Brooklyn, N.Y. As part of the project, the former boarding house-turned-three-family home’s boiler will be replaced with two Knight units.
“All of us at Lochinvar are very excited that the Knight was chosen to be part of this renovation project on ‘This Old House,’ ” said Jeff Vallett, Lochinvar executive vice president. “With its innovative design and unparalleled energy efficiency, the Knight is a perfect fit for a show that features high-quality craftsmanship and the latest in technology - and we couldn't be more thrilled that their home improvement experts agree.”
With a 98 percent efficiency rating, the Energy Star-qualified Knight boiler can cut heating costs in half, Lochinvar officials say.
