Green building expo coming to California
The West Coast Green show has new sponsors.
Officials with West Coast Green have announced some of the nation’s biggest companies committed to sustainable practices are sponsoring their event.
West Coast Green, the Sept. 25-27 trade show at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, Calif., is billed as the largest conference dedicated to green building, design, innovation and technology. New platinum-level sponsors include Whirlpool Corp., Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified Webcor Builders, and Pacific Gas & Electric.
“PG&E’s commitment to be the greenest utility in the country is evident through their programs, actions and leadership,” said Christi Graham, founder and president of West Coast Green. “It is the combination of bold moves like their major shift to PV (photovoltaic) solar power and the everyday changes homeowners can make in their own realm that will create the ultimate solution to our current climate problems.”
