NATE tests available at expo
North American Technician Excellence tests will be
offered at next month’s AHR Expo.
Baker Distributing Co. will sponsor the exams, which will start at 1 p.m. Jan. 31. Pre-test training will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. beforehand.
Registration forms are available at Baker’s website as well as sites for the AHR Expo and NATE .
NATE is one of the largest nonprofit HVACR certification organizations in country.
Officials with Baker said they hope many AHR attendees take advantage of the testing opportunity.
“We encourage all technicians to get certified,” said Tom Robertson, Baker’s director of technical services. “NATE certification allows technicians to gain the respect and recognition they deserve for their HVACR experience, knowledge and skills. As a result, the companies they work for are more marketable as more and more homeowners are requesting NATE-certified HVACR technicians for their installation and service needs.”
