Johnson Controls Inc. announced consumers who purchase its Luxaire brand this spring could receive a free 10-year extended warranty or a $1,500 rebate.

Eligible products include Luxaire Acclimate Series air conditioners, heat pumps, variable-speed air handlers, furnaces and residential packages. Rebates start at $50 and go up to $1,500 on the top-line Super Systems.

As it has done in the past, Luxaire will donate a portion of every sale to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the desires of critically ill children. The company donates a minimum of $250,000 to the foundation each year.

“This promotion is a win-win for consumers,” said Luxaire brand manager Jeff Hurt. “They not only benefit from the outstanding energy savings, home comfort and indoor air quality of Luxaire products, but they can also support the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.”
