Standards dealing with the testing of fans’ aerodynamic performance have been approved by ASHRAE and ANSI, the Air Movement and Control Association International announced.
The standards have been adopted by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers and the American National Standards Institute to test fans’ airflow rate, pressure levels, power consumption, air density and similar factors.
The standards, known as Nos. 210-07 and 51-07, are available for purchase atwww.amca.org.
