A 37-year-old sheet metal worker’s fatal fall off a gas station roof is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, a northwest Indiana newspaper reported.
The Times of Munster, Ind., reported Wednesday that Valparaiso, Ind., resident Ronald A. Moser was killed when he fell through a corrugated plastic covering. The man fell 15 feet, the paper said, striking his head on a metal cage that contained propane gas tanks at the New Lenox, Ill., station. Moser was installing a metal roof.
The county coroner said head trauma was the cause of death.
