Small-duct HVAC equipment maker Unico Inc. was the only heating and air-conditioning company that took part in a Jan. 24 festival at a farmers market in Coral Gables, Fla.
Unico was asked to participate in Green Alternative Products Day, which was part of A Tropical Green Festival, sponsored by the city of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Garden Club and the Villagers, a historic preservation group.
The festival featured sustainable and energy-efficient products from a dozen companies. Officials with Unico said their product is ideal for historic structures because it takes up a quarter of the space used by traditional HVAC systems while delivering high performance.
