Air Conditioning Contractors of
America members are feeling a little less secure about the economy, a new
survey says.
The group’s December Contractor
Comfort Index dropped four points to 61 from November’s 65. Nevertheless, member
contractors continue to anticipate growth in the economy in the near term,
officials said.
The index is compiled by asking
ACCA members how they feel about business prospects, activity and staffing in
the near future. A number above 50 says that growth is expected.
The next index will be released
near the end of January.
