Survey: ACCA members' confidence drops
Air Conditioning Contractors of
America members are feeling a little less secure about the economy, a new
survey says.
The group’s December Contractor Comfort Index dropped four points to 61 from November’s 65. Nevertheless, member contractors continue to anticipate growth in the economy in the near term, officials said.
The index is compiled by asking ACCA members how they feel about business prospects, activity and staffing in the near future. A number above 50 says that growth is expected.
The next index will be released near the end of January.
