Ideal Industries Inc. has released the newest addition to its PowerBlade line: the Big Kahuna power blade. The tool features a 3.5-inch jaw opening, which the company says makes cutting large-diameter copper and aluminum electrical cables a lot cleaner and easier. The Big Kahuna, which can attach onto any drill of 12 volts or higher, has a contoured blade design that minimizes cable distortion while the adjustable torque arm holds the drill perfectly in place.

Maintenance is as simple as oiling the blades with a light cutting oil. The gearbox is sealed and lubricated, so it will not require maintenance for the life of the tool, officials say.
