MultiCam has launched the new Synrad Firestar i401 laser on its 2000 Series CNC cutting machines. The new laser design is up to 23 percent more energy efficient than the previous one, and features four field-replaceable integrated radio frequency modules for ease of maintenance, the company says. The i401 laser’s beam quality also has the ability to produce consistent, high-quality parts over a large work surface.
