Sheet metal products manufacturer DMI Cos. has purchased the U.S. operations of Lindab AB, a Swedish maker of spiral duct.

Terms were not disclosed.

Lindab joins HVAC market brands Ductmate Industries, Aire Technologies and green HVAC manufacturer GreenSeam Industries as part of the Pennsylvania-based company.

Raymond W. Yeager, DMI’s president and chief executive officer, said he was excited about the deal.

“This acquisition is a strong strategic fit for our organization,” Yeager said. “Lindab will bring a new level of innovation to DMI Cos.”

Lindab Inc. President Dave Shaeffer also said DMI is a good match for the spiral duct maker.

“Lindab USA will continue to evolve and drive profits as we welcome new owners,” he said. “Our goals for a safe and healthy workplace, quality products, and excellent customer service press on.”
