CertainTeed to make Glass Master HVAC machines
CertainTeed has become the exclusive manufacturer of Glass Master, a line of fiberglass duct board machines used in ductwork fabrication. Terms were not disclosed.
Glass Master’s HVAC construction products include fiberglass duct board grooving machines, closure machines, hand tools and other items for the HVAC market.
“Glass Master is well respected in the HVAC industry and has revolutionized the design and construction of fiberglass duct board systems,” said Andrew Goldberg, CertainTeed’s general manager of mechanical and industrial insulation. “This is a natural fit for our company and our future, and demonstrates our full support and commitment to HVAC professionals.”
Glass Master’s model SG-220 grooving machine, tools and replacement blades will now be made at CertainTeed’s insulation division Machine Works facility in Winter Haven, Florida.
