Fabtech 2016 to feature education program, industry speakers
This year’s Fabtech show, which takes place Nov. 16-18 in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will include an education program of industry speakers who will present on a variety of topics.
The in-depth sessions will be led by manufacturing experts from technical, operational and managerial backgrounds and will focus on topics like cutting, lasers, forming and fabrication, welding, management strategies, shop solutions and automation, and more.
“Fabtech represents a wide range of manufacturing technologies and processes, so it’s important to us that our educational programming reflects that diversity,” said Mark Hoper of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association International, which sponsors the show with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Precision Metalforming Association, Chemical Coaters Association International, and the American Welding Society. “The most effective way to advance these highly specialized fields is through collaboration and exchanging ideas. If you work in the metal fabricating industry and you want to learn how to improve, there’s something at Fabtech for you.”
