Based on the design of the NetSensor, the new STE-6000 Series room temperature sensors are designed for use in building automation systems in a variety of space requirements. Where no operator interaction is required, such as schools and other locations, the plain-front Model STE-6011 can be used. Where some minimal operator interaction is expected, such as in office buildings and places of worship, the STE-6013 features two buttons to activate heating or cooling cycles. The STE-6012 is the model to use where full interface is desirable, says the company. The sensors incorporate a Type II 10,000-ohm (at 77°F) thermistor for the sensing element. They can be mounted on a hollow wall or to a 2- by 4-inch electrical box. The units have an accuracy of ± 0.36°F (±0.2°C).
