RSES announced its 2013-2014 board of directors, including its executive committee and regional directors, which will serve until the 77th RSES Annual Conference and HVACR Technology Expo. The conference and expo will be held in Long Beach, Calif., in 2014.
RSES has announced that Mark Lowry, executive vice president, is retiring from the organization when his current contract expires at the end of June 2014.

North American Technician Excellence (NATE), in partnership with Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES), is offering NATE certification testing at the 76th RSES Conference & HVACR Technology Expo in conjunction with the EKA 50th Annual Conference.
First in the Sustainability Series, the book “Understanding Geothermal Systems” is a comprehensive study and resource manual that serves as a best-practices guide for the design, installation, and maintenance of geothermal systems.
RSES has presented Certificate Member (CM) and Certificate Member Specialist (CMS) certificates to members who passed exams to attain such recognition. Included were a number from the South.
HVACR Companies Can Bring Training to Their Location

RSES’ new certified trainer program, first announced in late 2012 during the RSES Conference and HVACR Technology Expo at Isle of Palms, S.C., is “off and running,” according to a statement from the trade association.
RSES announced the names of members who were awarded RSES Certificate Member (CM) and Certificate Member Specialist (CMS) status, January through March 2013.
