At a press conference at the AHR Expo, Regal Beloit discussed that due to its acquisition of A.O. Smith Electrical Products Co. (EPC) last summer, Regal Beloit has begun transitioning EPC’s products to the Century™ and Genteq® brands.

Baltimore Aircoil Co. (BAC) announced the signing of an exclusive development agreement with WindTronics Inc., Muskegon, Mich., to utilize the company’s patented blade tip power system (BTPS) wind turbine technology in energy recovery applications for evaporative cooling equipment.

Kevin Merritt, president of Superior Radiant Products Ltd. (SRP), Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, announced the launch of the company’s new United States operation. Superior Radiant Products Inc. was incorporated as of Jan. 4, 2012 with operations in Atlanta.

Titus HVAC announced that it has expanded its Plexicon line of displacement ventilation systems to include solar capabilities. The solar Plexicon uses a wireless, energy harvesting process to power the unit.

At the 2012 AHR Expo, SWEP has introduced its e-business shop to the United States market. SWEP noted that its e-business shop has been up and running for six years and is now available to its dealers in the U.S.
