The editors of The NEWS combed through every aisle of the 2011 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) in the Las Vegas Convention Center in order to provide complete, comprehensive coverage of the show. This feature article highlights all of the new products that The NEWS' editorial staff found.

Nearly 55,000 people ambled through the Las Vegas Convention Center during three days of non-stop activity at the industry’s largest trade show. A typical Wednesday at the expo is usually considered a light day for foot traffic. But even on the last day of the show, attendees were drawn to the 1,800-plus exhibitors’ booths displaying the latest HVACR products.

Those looking to escape to sunnier destinations this winter might be wise to check out the 2011 Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigerating (AHR) Expo in Las Vegas. A primary focus will be solar energy, with numerous new solar products on display, more than a dozen seminars focused on solar topics, as well as demonstrations of solar technology.

The 10 winners of the 2011 AHR Expo Innovation Awards represent some of the most innovative new products in the HVACR industry, according to the judges, members of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), who evaluated submissions based on innovation, application, value to the user, and market impact.

The 2012 AHR Expo®-Mexico is on track to celebrate its 10th anniversary as the largest HVACR event in Mexico on Sept. 25-27 at Cintermex in Monterrey, Mexico.

The winners of the 2012 AHR Expo Innovation Awards have been announced. The winners were selected in 10 product categories and represent the most innovative new products among the thousands to be displayed at the show.

Over 1,700 companies already have reserved more than 414,500 square feet of exhibit space for the 2012 Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Exposition (AHR Expo) in Chicago, Jan. 23-25, 2012.

Manufacturers appear to be very optimistic about the economic outlook for the HVACR industry. According to a recent survey of more than 1,000 AHR Expo exhibitors, nearly three-fourths (72 percent) of the total respondents expect a better year (59 percent) or a much better year (13 percent) in 2012 compared to 2011.
