LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - Lynxspring Inc. announced that it has partnered with KMC Controls to offer Lynxspring Controls Green BACnet-conformant controllers for the building automation community.

According to Lynxspring, its business partners have asked for a BACnet-conformant control offering and, as a result, the company issued a request for proposal (RFP) for BACnet products. After evaluation of a number of potential suppliers, Lynxspring entered into a resellers and private labeling arrangement with KMC Controls.

Lynxspring said key considerations in the decision were: quality of KMC organization and similarity of corporate cultures; quality of hardware; ease of BACnet integration with Lynxspring’s core Niagara platform; warranty; fast turnaround of orders; and competitive pricing.

“Lynxspring is pleased to have KMC as a strategic partner,” said Terry Swope, president of Lynxspring. “This application couldn’t be more needed at this time in the energy management industry. We see Lynxspring Controls Green as a strategic direction for our company.”

Jon Hilberg, CEO for KMC, said, “Lynxspring’s Niagara-based platform is also very attractive to KMC. Their unique development and channel capabilities make them the perfect partner to help KMC expand its market share.”
