WASHINGTON, DC — The Earth Technologies Forum held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill included an executive summit called “Building Air Conditioning Investment: Save Money and Protect the Environment.” The summit included both government and business experts who addressed the economic as well as environmental benefits of energy-efficient building hvac systems.
In his keynote speech, James Connaughton, chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, talked about a “clean energy future.” When it comes to energy, he said, “Newer is cleaner, safer, and, over time, tends to be more affordable.”
