Homeowners may go to the website to verify, by zip code, local service availability for specific home improvements. Also, customers may go onto sears.com to view the status of products dropped off for repair at service centers.
"This is the most recent example of Sears enhancing the customer experience for home services through Web-based technology," said Mark Good, president of Sears product repair services.
