Seeley International (Americas): Indirect Evaporative Air Cooler
January 24, 2011
The Climate Wizard is an indirect evaporative air cooler, which delivers substantial energy savings compared with refrigerated cooling systems, says the company. It can be used on its own, for stand-alone cooling, or in conjunction with refrigerated systems. A method called “cold front cooling,” which involves installing the indirect evaporative air cooler in front of refrigerated systems to pre-cool the air, can cut energy use significantly. The company says the Climate Wizard uses the same amount of power, no matter how hot it gets outside, with no moisture added through the cooling process.
