WASHINGTON - According to the revised gross domestic product (GDP) report from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. economy grew at an annual rate of 8.2 percent in the third quarter, the best quarterly performance since 1984.
The revised figure was a percentage point higher than the 7.2 percent estimate released previously.
