Transportation equipment manufacturer Ingersoll-Rand Co. is purchasing Trane for $10.1 billion, officials from both companies announced Monday.

Rehau Inc. announced Monday that its professional-development program for North American contractors will be launched at the Jan. 22-28 AHR Expo in New York City.
