John Ade Named a Design Technology Manager at Newcomb & Boyd

John Ade
December 7, 2020

ATLANTA — John Ade has joined Newcomb & Boyd as a design technology manager. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1985. John, originally from Evanston, Illinois, currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina, with his wife, Bonnie, and their 13-year-old Cockapoo, Baxter. They have one daughter, Nicole. They’re also in the process of buying a home and moving to Hendersonville, North Carolina.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, hiking, archery, welding, and doing home improvement. He considers himself to be a homebody, is both an early bird and a night owl, and prefers the mountains over the beach.

The furthest John has traveled from home is London, and his favorite trips were his two trips to Ireland, one of which was for his honeymoon. His ideal vacation would be to go to New Zealand.

His favorite quote is, “Be proud of who you are and not ashamed of how someone else sees you.” He is passionate about his family and his biggest pet peeve is a lack/use of common sense and courtesy. John describes himself as grounded, open-minded, and curious. For more information, visit www.newcomb-boyd.com.
