BREA, Calif. — CoolSys™, a parent of market-leading refrigeration and HVAC services companies nationwide, has announced the acquisition of Building Air Services, a provider of service and preventive maintenance programs for commercial air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and automated building controls. Through this acquisition, CoolSys strengthens its light commercial division and expands its presence in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and Arizona.

“We’re delighted to add Building Air Services to the CoolSys family of companies,” said Adam Coffey, CEO of CoolSys. “As a leading HVACR provider in the Southeast region, Building Air Services shares our commitment to putting customers’ needs first and delivering the highest quality services possible. We look forward to serving new customers throughout the Southeast region and expanding our light commercial division as a result of this strategic acquisition.”

For the past 20 years, Building Air Services has been serving the Southeast region and has earned a reputation for being a responsive, customer-centric, high-quality service provider. Its technicians are required to meet high standards with continuous training and education. Additionally, its staff includes quality assurance managers, who travel to service locations to guarantee the maintenance of the company’s high standards. Its dispatch center offers the increased efficiencies of GPS-equipped trucks and technologically integrated field service devices.

“At Building Air Services, our customers come first,” said Steve Boose, CEO, Building Air Services. “We are confident that they will receive an enhanced service experience from the same local team as we become part of the CoolSys family. In addition, our customers will now have access to the expanded range of value-added services that CoolSys offers nationwide.”
