July 9, 2019

FAIRFAX, Va. — Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced that John Bowling, P.E., has been hired as a senior mechanical engineer in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) department based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Bowling’s background is primarily in building automation, fire alarm, security, and HVAC systems and service. With more than 30 years of experience, his expertise includes construction cost scheduling, estimating, and engineering.

Prior to joining Dewberry, Bowling served as a pre-construction tender manager for a building company in Morrisville, North Carolina, where he had the opportunity to work on the HVAC control system for the PNC Arena in Raleigh. In his new role, he works with Dewberry’s building automation group to design integrated building management systems, primarily for clients in the federal and healthcare market.

Bowling graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (1986) and is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers. For more information, visit www.dewberry.com.
