Ruskin
April 2, 2019

Ruskin has hired Jay Ramkumar as director of louvers and architectural solutions.

In his role, Ramkumar will oversee product development, application engineering, and sales of Ruskin’s expanding louver production offering. He has nearly 15 years of experience in the mechanical and construction industries serving in a variety of roles, including product manager, senior applications engineer, vertical marketing manager, and MEP engineer involved in health care, education, and other construction projects.

“Jay brings a deep level of industry experience and knowledge to our team, as well as an invaluable can-do attitude,” said Keith Glasch, president of Ruskin. “His ability to tackle new challenges will be a key asset as we continue to position ourselves as the global leader in air control solutions.”

Ramkumar earned his master’s degree in civil engineering with a construction focus from Iowa State University, and his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stony Brook University in New York. In addition, Ramkumar is LEED AP BD+C certified with the U.S. Green Building Council.

Ramkumar will be based at Ruskin corporate headquarters in Grandview, Missouri.
