ZEELAND, Mich. — Foresight Management has acquired Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Building Performance Team, an engineering firm specializing in commissioning, energy modeling, and optimizing facility performance.

This acquisition will expand Foresight Management’s service offerings to help meet its clients’ energy use and cost reduction goals.

“We are excited to have Jim [Dirkes] on the Foresight team,” said Brian Pageau, president, Foresight Management. “Jim’s ability to go deep into a facility and solve complex problems with an eye toward building optimization will greatly enhance our current energy management offerings. Our clients are serious about operational excellence, financial performance, and environmental stewardship. Their aspirational goals require our team to be at the forefront of innovation and problem solving. Jim’s long-time industry experience and unique skill set put us in prime position to serve our clients’ most complex energy needs.”

Foresight Management’s purchase of Building Performance Team will add expertise to their team of energy engineers and will provide in-house specialization in areas such as energy modeling (computerized building simulations), retro-commissioning for existing facilities, and commissioning for new construction.
