Somerville, Massachusetts-based Carbone Associates LLC is offering professional development courses starting March 18.

Engineered Systems columnists Howard Mckew, P.E., will be the instructor for the training classes. McKew has more than 50 years of experience in the HVAC industry working as a consultant, president of engineering and estimating for design-build and construction management services, commissioning, TAB, quality control, and more.

Training classes include:

• Intro to HVAC Systems;

• Conceptual Design Phase Engineering;

• Equipment Room Layout;

• Design Phase & Construction;

• Intro to Commissioning;

• Intro to Testing, Adjusting, & Balancing;

• Intro to Public Speaking in & Out of Office; and

• Project Management.

Credits will be provided with the completion of each course. Classes will start each Monday night at 6:00 pm and finish at 8:00 pm. Prices are $95 per class. Classes start March 18 and run into May.
