Mestek has named Russel Zabel as its western sales manager for the boiler group. Zabel will be supporting RBI Water Heaters, Advanced Thermal Hydronics KN Series Boilers, and Smith Cast Iron Boilers in the Western United States, working closely with current personnel to cover the region.

Zabel comes to Mestek with over three decades of experience in the HVAC industry which includes owning and operating his own manufacturer’s representative firm. In addition to his experience with equipment sales and sales management, Zabel brings extensive knowledge of hydronic systems including over 14 years working with RBI products. 

“Russel’s expertise in equipment application and hydronic system design combined with his background in marketing and business development will enable him to cultivate a territory focused on business development, product support, and customer relationships,” said Chad Sime, Mestek Boiler Group director of sales.
