Friedrich Air Conditioning Co. has named Jim Jones as the company’s newest regional sales manager supporting its commercial and lodging divisions in the Southeast. 

In his new role, Jones will be responsible for growing Friedrich’s sales of HVAC products through the wholesale distribution and Plan & Spec Rep channels, as well as assisting with national account initiatives in the Southeast territory. 

“We are excited to have Jim join the Friedrich sales team,” said Barry Bookout, director of sales for Friedrich’s Lodging & Specialty Markets group. “He brings a high level of sales and account management experience to this role and we’re confident he will make an immediate and positive impact in the territory.”

Jones joins Friedrich with a background in sales management, territory sales, and key account development. He graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in psychology and international studies.

Jones began his HVAC career with HD Supply Facilities Maintenance in 2007. Officials said he achieved top recognition within the organization for building and growing territory market share and consistently demonstrating the highest level of territory and sales management. During his time with HD Supply, Jones held a variety of positions including field account specialist (2007-2011) and regional sales manager (2011-2018). Jones is based in Tampa, FL.
