IndustryNews
June 15, 2017

The Johnson Controls board of directors has appointed Lynn Minella as vice president, chief human resources officer. She will also serve as a corporate officer. Minella succeeds Simon Davis who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

"Simon has been an integral part of our transformation to a global multi-industrial company and throughout his 20 years with the company his insights and leadership within our businesses and most recently at the enterprise level have shaped who we are as a company," said Alex Molinaroli, chairman and CEO.

Minella most recently served as group human resources director at BAE Systems Plc based out of London, where she was a member of the executive committee. Prior to BAE Systems, she was senior vice president of human resources and communications at Air Products & Chemicals. Earlier in her career she held a variety of human resources leadership roles at IBM.

"Lynn is a great addition to our executive management team with proven results in driving organization transformation, developing and motivating high performance leaders, and helping business achieve growth priorities," said Molinaroli.

Minella serves on the board of directors for Ibstock Plc and is an advisory board member for the Center for Advanced Human Resources Studies. She has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
